Privacy Policy

BelloAdvisor is operated by Bello Advisor LLC (“we,” “us”), a New York-based technical consulting practice. This policy describes how we handle information collected through belloadvisor.com and the BelloAdvisor mobile application (together, the “Service”).

Account information. Name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash), and the optional profile details you choose to share: company, role, company stage, team size, how you found us, and your goals.

Consultation requests. The information you submit when requesting a consultation — the service you need, engagement preference, problem description, goals, user story, timeline, budget range, and technology stack. We use this to evaluate and prepare for engagements.

Booking and payment data. Session selections, scheduling times, and cancellation records. When payments are enabled, card details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe); full card numbers never touch our servers — we retain only a processor reference and, for display, a masked identifier.

Technical data. We use essential cookies strictly for authentication and session state. We run no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics that sell or share your data. Our hosting providers may log IP addresses and request metadata for security and operations.

To operate the Service: reviewing consultation requests, scheduling sessions, enforcing the disclosed cancellation policy, sending service notifications, and preparing for consultations. In aggregate, request data also helps us understand what prospective clients need. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your confidential business details for marketing.

Only the service providers that run the platform: web hosting (Vercel), database hosting (Railway), and payment processing (Stripe), each processing data on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law. If we ever undergo a business transfer, this policy would continue to govern transferred data.

Account and request data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for records and legal compliance. Passwords are hashed, transport is encrypted (HTTPS), and access to production data is restricted to the principal.

You can review and update your profile in the client portal at any time. To access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, email jonathan@belloadvisor.com — we honor verified requests within 30 days, subject to records we must keep (e.g., invoices).

The Service is for business use and not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

We'll post any material changes to this page and update the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
